Roger Thorpe, Founder & Chairman
I founded the company in 1978, initially as my own management consultancy firm. It changed its name to Colt Computers Ltd in 1982 and in 1985 formed CCE (CC Engineering Ltd). Initially CCE was established to support the growing numbers of Colt installations and its chain of partners. We rapidly grew into a full third party I.T. support company with a nationwide coverage.
I have great personal pride in the fact that my Son Giles is now heading the company; the future looks brighter with each year of his stewardship, his forward thinking has enabled us, whilst preserving our core servicing business, to become a significant player in the outsourcing sector.
The decision to engage in the IP-CENTRIX arena which encompasses such functions as Business Continuity, Hosted Data Centres and Hosted Voice Applications coupled with our partnerships with VIATEL and other major network providers has further enhanced our technical capabilities and will contribute to our long term growth and stability.
